About The Event

Come indulge in an unforgettable journey of flavors as we invite you to join us for an exclusive tasting event highlighting the wines of Valdencanto. Each wine will be paired with an Argentine delight curated to enhance your tasting experience. Listen to the fascinating story of Malbec's journey, the immigrant grape that found its home in the sun-drenched vineyards of Argentina. Discover how this once-foreign varietal flourished in Argentina's fertile soils, ultimately ascending to become the nation's most revered grape variety.

Indulge in our menu, carefully crafted by Argentinian-born Chef Carlos Barroz:

• First course:

Begin with the delicate flavors of Seared Octopus,

perfectly complemented by a glass of Valdencanto de Colina Blanco 2020.

• Second Corse:

Delight in traditional Empanadas Argentina’s,

Paired elegantly with the robust Valdencanto de Rio 2017.

• Third Corse:

Savor the rich, comforting notes of Choripan. Argentinian sausage and chimichurri,

Accompanied by the velvety Valdencanto de Colina Tinto 2019.

Valdencanto represents an extreme wine endeavor set in the pre-Andean mountain range. As a small, sustainable boutique winery, they specialize in handcrafting wines from vines planted atop an ancient ocean bed. Their dedication lies in maintaining the untouched biodiversity within this wild terrain.

Executive Chef Barroz, who was born in Argentina, loves to showcase the foods he grew up on.

Join us for an enchanting time of wine, food, and storytelling.
